The School age program is designed for children from kindergarten to age 12. For school age children Child's Play offers before and after school care, non-school day childcare, and a summer program. The school age child works on lifelong skills to promote good decision-making and social interaction. The environment is enriched to enhance literacy and math skills. The summer program focuses on the development of leadership skills, independence, and self-esteem.

Science |
Promotes learning about science and discovering our world through simple science experiments that are supplemented with tools such as a sensory table, water table, and magnifying glass. |

Reinforces and develops math skills, counting and number recognition skills through the use of manipulative equipment such as toys, flashcards, puzzles and through writing and solving math problems. |
Computers |
Introduces and develops basic computer skills through the use of educational computer games. |
Arts and Crafts |
Provides opportunities to create through structured projects and provides guided practice with paint, crayons, markers, glue, and scissors. |
Space & Sequence |
Develops an understanding of numerical order through file folder games and flip cards, as well as strengthens special awareness skills (above, under, next to) through verbal direction, games, and books. |
Dramatic Play |
Develops social skills and allows school age children to explore real life through imaginary play by using “life like” toys such as: the play kitchen, dolls, cars, trucks, and puppets. |

Stimulates thinking and reasoning skills through the use of number/letter games and card games. |
